Man charged in connection with the death of a man in Whitburn

A 48-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a man in Whitburn, West Lothian.

Around 2.20pm on Friday, 19 December, 2025, we were called to a report of concern for a 56-year-old man found injured within a house in the Gilchrist Crescent area.

Emergency services attended however the man was pronounced dead at the scene. He can be named as Grzegorz Bialy. His next of kin are aware.

The 48-year-old man is expected to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court on Monday, 22 December, 2025.
