Man arrested and charged following drugs recovery in Perth

Cannabis with an estimated street value of up to £55,560 has been recovered in Perth.

Around 1.20pm on Wednesday, 10 December, 2025, officers executed a warrant at a property on Rannoch Road, where the drugs were recovered along with a possible firearm, which is currently being assessed.

A 23-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection and appeared at Perth Sheriff Court on Thursday, 11 December.

Sergeant Mark Reid said: "Recoveries such as this are an important part of our work to address drug-related crime in our communities.

"This recovery also demonstrates our ongoing commitment to the Serious and Organised Crime Taskforce and the country's Serious and Organised Crime Strategy.

"We rely on information from the public to support our efforts and would encourage anyone with concerns about drugs in their area to contact Police Scotland on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
