A man has been sentenced to eight years in prison for drugs offences in Dundee.

Kane Donaldson, 30, was found guilty of having been concerned in the supply of drugs at the High Court in Edinburgh on Monday, 24 November, 2025.

He was sentenced at the same court on Tuesday, 23 December, 2025.

On Thursday, 9 June, 2022, officers searched a property in the Charleston area of the city and recovered cocaine with an estimated value of £1 million.

Further enquiries revealed Donaldson was responsible for the drugs being delivered to the address.

Detective Chief Inspector Julia Ogilvie said: “Drugs can have a devastating impact on our communities, and this result underlines our determination to getting these harmful substances off our streets and holding those involved in their supply accountable.

“It also highlights our continued commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious and Organised Crime Strategy.

“Information from the public is vital to our work and we would continue to urge people to report any concerns to us.

“We will continue to use every tool and tactic at our disposal to deter this activity and protect our communities from the harm that illegal drugs can cause.”
