Appeal for information following serious assault in Fraserburgh
Officers in Fraserburgh are appealing for information following a serious assault.
Around 4.20am on Sunday, 21 December, 2025, we were made aware of an injured man on Watermill Road.
Emergency services attended and the 29-year-old was taken to hospital for treatment.
Following enquiries, it has been established the assault took place on College Bounds, near the junction with George Street, between 3am and 4am. It did not happen at a nightclub, as had previously been reported.
Enquiries remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances and officers are appealing for witnesses.
Constable Leah Strachan said: “I’d ask anyone who was in the area at the time who saw what happened, saw the man before or after he was injured, or saw anyone acting suspiciously to come forward.
“Anyone with private CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage is also asked to please review this to see if you’ve captured anything that may assist our investigation.”
