Appeal following wilful fire-raising in Greenock Road area of Bishopton

Officers are appealing for information after a car was deliberately set on fire in Bishopton on Saturday, 29 November.

The incident happened around 9pm when a white BMW was found on fire in a car park at the rear of a premises on Greenock Road.

The fire was put out by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and no one was injured.

Detective Constable Colin Leggat said: “The fire is being treated as wilful and we are asking anyone who saw anything suspicious to get in touch.

“Please also check any private CCTV or dash-cam that you have to see if anything has been captured that could help with our investigation.”
