Appeal following wilful fire in Pollok

Detectives are appealing for information after a wilful fire-raising in the Pollok area of Glasgow.

Around 1.40pm on Sunday, 21 December, 2025, we received a report of a fire at a premises on Ladymuir Crescent.

Emergency services attended, and the fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. No injuries were reported.

Two men were seen exiting a black Audi A6 at the scene before approaching the premises.

Detective Sergeant Scott Hawkins said: “We are appealing to anyone in the area who may have witnessed anything suspicious around this time to get in touch.

“I’d also ask that anyone with CCTV or dash-cam footage review this and see if it has captured anything of significance, in particular the Audi that was seen outside the premises at the time.”
