Appeal following wilful fire in Inverurie

Officers are appealing for information following a wilful fire in Inverurie.

Around 7.40pm on Monday, 29 December, police were made aware of a fire at a premises on High Street. The fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and no injuries were reported.

Constable Brooke Duncan said: “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the fire and we are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed anything suspicious."
