Appeal following wilful fire in Alexandria

Detectives in Alexandria are appealing for information following a wilful house fire the Bonhill area.

Emergency services were called to Pappert around 8.20pm on Monday, 8 December, 2025.

An adjoining property was evacuated, and the fire was extinguished by Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.

There are no reported injuries.

Detective Constable Andrew Baldacci said: “I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information which could help to get in touch.

“I would also ask anyone who was in the area at the time and who may have dash cam or private CCTV which could assist to contact us.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 2823 of 8 December 2025.
