Appeal following serious crash on Carmunnock Road, Glasgow
Road Policing officers are appealing for information following a serious crash involving a car and a pedestrian in Glasgow.
The incident happened around 5pm on Thursday, 3 December, 2025, on Carmunnock Road, where a 66-year-old man was struck by a black Audi A1.
Emergency services attended and the man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment, where he remains in a serious condition. There were no other injuries.
The road was closed to allow for crash investigations to be carried out and was reopened around 11.30pm.
Sergeant Jack Swindells said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of this crash and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed what happened to contact us.
“In addition, anyone with CCTV or dash-cam footage around the time of the incident is asked to get in touch.”
