Appeal following fatal crash in Broughty Ferry
Officers are appealing for information following a fatal crash in Broughty Ferry.
The crash happened around 5.25pm on Saturday, 13 December, 2025, on Christian Road, and involved a pedestrian and a silver Ford Transit van.
Emergency services attended, but the pedestrian, an 83-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed.
No other injuries were reported.
The road was closed for six hours to allow for investigations to take place.
Sergeant David Farr, Road Policing East, said: “Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of the woman who died at this extremely difficult time.
“Our investigation into the crash is ongoing, and I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened to contact officers.
“I’d also ask that those with private CCTV or dash-cam footage review this to see if it has captured anything of significance.”
