Appeal following crash on Pollokshaws Road, Glasgow
Police are appealing for information following a crash on Pollokshaws Road, Glasgow.
Around 7.45pm on Friday, 12 December, 2025, we received a report of a crash involving a Triumph Bonneville motorbike and a pedestrian on the A77 Pollokshaws Road at the junction with Queen Square.
Emergency services attended and the 74-year-old female pedestrian and the 52-year-old male rider were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
The road was closed to allow enquiries to be carried out and re-opened around 12.30am on Saturday, 13 December 2025.
Sergeant Jack Swindells said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash and haven’t already spoken to officers to contact us.
“I would also ask anyone who was in the area and may have dash cam or private CCTV which could assist to get in touch.”
