Appeal following crash involving van and pedestrian in Larkhall
Road Policing officers are appealing for information following a crash involving a van and a pedestrian in Larkhall.
The incident happened around 7.45am on Wednesday, 3 December, 2025, in the Muir Street area, and involved a black Maxus van and an 81-year-old male pedestrian.
Emergency services attended and the man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment, where he remains in a critical but stable condition.
Constable Graeme McNiven said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of this incident.
“We are appealing to anyone who was in the area around the time and may have witnessed what happened to please contact us with any information that may assist.
“In addition, anyone with CCTV or dash-cam footage is asked to get in touch.”
