Appeal following break-in at property in West Lothian

Detectives are appealing for information following a break-in at a property in Winchburgh, West Lothian.

The incident happened around 2.10pm on Thursday, 11 December, 2025, on Church View.

Two men, wearing balaclavas, dark clothing, and gloves, entered the property, however nothing was taken. They made off on a motorbike.

Detective Sergeant Lynn Myles said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have seen anything to contact us.

“We’d also ask anyone with private CCTV or dash-cam footage of Church View at the time to come forward.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 1914 of Thursday, 11 December, 2025. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
