Appeal after vandalism in Fortrose
Officers are appealing for information after a bus stop was vandalised in Fortrose.
Around 9.15am on Saturday, 29 November, 2025, we received a report of graffiti that included hate speech at a bus stop on Chanonry Crescent.
The investigation is ongoing, but this is being treated as a hate crime.
Inspector Daniel Jack said: “We’d like to reassure the community that we are carrying out extensive enquiries into this incident and would ask anyone in the local area who saw something suspicious prior to this time to come forward and speak to officers.
“We’d also ask that those in the community with private CCTV and dash-cam footage review this to see if it has captured anything of significance that could assist with our investigation.”
