Appeal after man found seriously injured in Baillieston
Officers are appealing for information after a man was found injured in Baillieston.
Around 5.50pm on Friday, 5 December, 2025, we received a report of a man with serious injuries on Maxwell Street, near to its junction with Main Street.
Emergency services attended, but the man, aged 74, was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin are aware.
The death is being treated as unexplained pending the results of a post mortem examination which will be carried out in due course.
Detective Sergeant Graham Clarke said: “Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of the man who died at this very difficult time and our enquiries are ongoing into the full circumstances.
“We are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and who may have information that could assist with our investigation to contact officers.
“We’d also ask that those who live locally who have private CCTV or dash-cam footage review this to see if it has captured anything of significance.”
