Appeal after a man was found injured in Aberdeen

Officers in Aberdeen are appealing for information after a man was found with facial injuries on Shiprow in the city.

Around 2.45am on Sunday, 14 December 2025, we were called to a report of a 46-year-old man seriously injured.

He was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.

The man also had his grey, Elops bike stolen from him.

Detective Constable Barry Peden said: "Despite the time of night, we believe there were people in the area around the time of this incident.

"I am appealing for anyone with any information to please come forward."

Anyone with any information should contact police on 101, quoting incident 0539 of Sunday, 14 December, 2025.
