Update - missing man David Houston, Kilwinning

Around 3.10am on Thursday, 7 August, 2025, we were made aware the body of a man had been found in a wooded area off the B785 at Eglington Park, Kilwinning. 

Formal identification has still to take place. The family of David Houston, who was reported missing in the area, have been made aware. 

The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.
