Seven men arrested and charged after drugs recovered in Aberdeen
Seven men have been arrested and charged after drugs with an estimated value of over £1,700,000 were recovered in Aberdeen.
On Friday, 22 August, 2025, officers attended a premises on Dee Street. A cannabis cultivation with an estimated street value of £1,304,000 was discovered within.
Four men, aged 30, 35, 35, and 40, were arrested and charged in connection. They were due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday, 25 August, 2025.
On Monday, 25 August, 2025, officers attended a premises on Union Street. A cannabis cultivation with an estimated street value of £419,000 was recovered.
Three men, aged 21, 35 and 36, were arrested and charged in connection and are due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 26 August, 2025.
Detective Inspector Andrew Machray said: “These significant recoveries highlight our commitment to disrupting drug-related crime in our communities. It also reinforces our ongoing commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious and Organised Crime Strategy.
