Old Shettleston Road closed following an assault

Around 3.15pm on Friday, 15 August, 2025, officers were called to a report of an assault on Old Shettleston Road, Glasgow.

Emergency services attended, and a 24-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.

Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.

Old Shettleston Road is closed at Fernan Street and Kenmore Street and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
