Appeal after football related violence in Bishopbriggs
Around 8.15pm on Friday, 22 August, 2025 we were made aware of a disturbance in Bishopbriggs.
A group of around 20 people had gathered in a wooded area near Marley Field and Cadder Road to take part in organised football related violence.
The group left the scene when officers arrived and there were no reports of any injuries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Several individuals involved have been identified and investigations are on going to identify and arrest further persons involved.
"I am appealing to the public to help identify the people that took part in this disturbance.
"If you have CCTV, dashcam or mobile phone footage, or have any information that could assist with enquires, please contact 101 quoting incident number 3672 of 22 August, 2025.
"The vast majority of football fans do not conduct themselves in this way and just want to enjoy the sport. This organised criminal behaviour impacts on our communities, the reputation of football clubs and police resources in order to investigate and prevent these crimes.
"Organised football related violence will not be tolerated in our communities and we will continue to investigate this using the full extent of our powers to stamp out this kind of offending."
