Man arrested following assault and robbery in Dumfries

A 47-year-old man has been arrested and charged following an investigation into an assault and robbery in Dumfries. 

The incident happened between 5am and 6.30am on Sunday, 10 August, 2025 on Glasgow Road, near Cuckoobridge.

The 47-year-old is due to appear at Dumfries Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 20 August, 2025.
