Drugs worth £161,000 recovered at properties in Paisley and Johnstone
Officers have recovered drugs with an estimated street value of £161,000 after a day of action in Renfrewshire.
On Thursday, 7 August, 2025, officers executed warrants at properties in Rowan Street and Strathcarron Road, in Paisley, as well as a premises in Mary Street and Campbell Street in Johnstone.
Cocaine with an estimated street value of £130,000 and cannabis with an estimated street value of £31,000 was recovered.
A 28-year-old man was arrested in connection with the cannabis recovery, and he has since been released pending further enquiry. The investigation is continuing.
Detective Inspector Gordon Smith, from the Serious and Organised Crime Team, said: "This significant recovery highlights our commitment to tackling dangerous and illegal drugs in our communities.
"This seizure also underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country's Serious Organised Crime Strategy.
