Appeal to trace missing man one year since last seen in Wishaw
Officers are continuing to ask for the help of the public to trace a 40-year-old man, one year after he was last seen in Wishaw.
Kevin Young was seen on Tuesday, 30 July, 2024 in the Glasgow Road area of the town. He also had connections in the Harestone Crescent area of Wishaw.
He is originally from Dundee and enquiries have found that he may have travelled to the city around November, 2024.
He is described at white, 5ft 9ins with short, brown hair.
His family has released the following statement: “All of Kevin’s friends and family, especially his brother, are worried about Kevin.
"We want to know where he is and that he’s okay. If anyone has any information about Kevin please get in touch”
Enquiries are ongoing to find him.
Sergeant Chris Grey said: “It is unusual for Kevin not to be in touch with family and friends for such a long time and it is now a year since he was last seen. Concerns continue for his welfare. We need to trace him to make sure he is safe and well.
“We are asking anyone who has seen Kevin or knows where he might be to get in touch. We are also asking Kevin to make contact if he hears about this appeal.”
