Appeal following assault in Paisley
Detectives are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in Paisley.
Between 7pm and 7.30pm on Tuesday, 12 August, 2025, a 35-year-old man was walking near to Glencoats Lodge, Blackstoun Road, when two men exited a white van and assaulted him in the Privies Park area.
The man was assisted by a member of the public and later attended at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
The first man is described as being around 6ft in height and of stocky build. He was wearing a dark coloured top, grey tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.
The second man is described as being around 5ft 8in in height and of a thinner build. He was wearing an orange high visibility top, grey bottoms and black trainers.
Both left the scene in the white van.
Detective Constable Rebecca Daily said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and I am appealing for the help of the public.
“I would ask anyone who witnessed the incident and who hasn’t already spoken to police to contact us.
“I would also ask anyone who was in the area around the time and who may have dash cam or private CCTV which could assist to get in touch.”
