Second man arrested in connection with death of Austin Ironside in Aberdeen

A second man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of Austin Ironside.

Austin, 25, was found injured on Skene Street in Aberdeen on Sunday, 3 August, 2025. He was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where he died on Tuesday, 5 August.

A 34-year-old man was arrested and charged today, Thursday 14 August, in connection and is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Friday, 15 August, 2025.

A 46-year-old man was previously arrested and charged in connection with the death and he was due to appear at the same court on Thursday, 14 August, 2025.
