Two people charged following attempted murder in Ravenscraig Park, Kirkcaldy

An 18-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an attempted murder on a 16-year-old male youth in Ravenscraig Park, Kirkcaldy on Friday, 25 April, 2025.

A 14-year-old boy has also been charged with assault in connection with the same incident.

The injured 16-year-old was taken by ambulance to Victoria Hospital for treatment.

The 18-year-old man is due to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Thursday, 1 May, 2025.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

The incident was reported to police on Tuesday, 29 April, 2025 and enquiries are continuing.
