A man has died following a collision in Glasgow on Saturday, 22 March, 2025.
The crash, involving a silver Volkswagen T-Cross car and male pedestrian, happened around 8.40pm on Carntyne Road.
The 58-year-old pedestrian was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he died on Wednesday, 16 April, 2025.
He has been named as Brian Roan from the local area.
Enquiries remain ongoing and officers continue to appeal for information.
Road Policing Sergeant Chris McColm said: “My thoughts are with Brian’s family and friends as they try to come to terms with what has happened. We’ll continue to offer them support.
“I’d like to thank everyone who has come forward with information so far and ask anyone who may be able to assist with our investigation, and has not already spoken to police, to contact us. I’m particularly keen to speak to drivers with dash-cam footage of the area around the time.”
