Man arrested and charged after firearm recovered in Bellshill

A 40-year-old man has been arrested and charged after a firearm was recovered in Lanarkshire.

On Thursday, 10 April, 2025, road policing officers stopped a vehicle on Rosehall Road, Bellshill and a firearm and ammunition were recovered.

A 40-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection.

He is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Friday, 11 April, 2025.
