Investigation into suspicious fire in Fort William

Detectives are appealing for information following a suspicious car fire in Fort William.

Around 4.40am on Saturday, 19 April, 2025, a bright blue coloured Audi A4, on Nairn Crescent, was deliberately set on fire. A black Mitsubishi Outlander was also damaged in the incident.

No-one was injured and officers are checking relevant CCTV footage from in and around the area for any additional information.

Officers are appealing for information and are asking for anyone with dash cam or doorbell cameras to check their footage as there may be images which could assist the ongoing inquiry.

Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 0566 of Saturday, 19 April, 2025. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where you can give your information anonymously.
