Drugs worth £100,000 seized in Aberdeenshire
Officers have seized drugs worth an estimated street value of £100,000 in the North East.
Around 12.40am on Friday, 25 April, 2025, officers stopped a car on the A90 near Fordoun, Aberdeenshire. A search of the vehicle resulted in heroin being discovered.
A 53-year-old woman has been arrested and charged and is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday, 28 April, 2025.
Detective Inspector John Pirie said: “This recovery shows our commitment to disrupting the supply of drugs in our communities.
“It also underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime and the country's Serious Organised Crime Strategy and we will continue to work with partner agencies to tackle this issue and make our communities safer.
