Appeal after man is robbed and assaulted in Arbroath
Detectives are appealing for information after a man was robbed in Arbroath.
Around 1pm on Thursday, 24 April, a 38-year-old man was in the West Abbey Street area when he was approached by a man and woman and robbed of a sum of cash and assaulted.
He did not require hospital treatment.
The man is described as being around 30-years-old and around 5ft 10in tall, of average build and wearing dark clothing. The woman had long blonde hair and was around 30-years-old.
Detective Sergeant Dave Fearn said: “Our enquiries have been ongoing and I am now appealing for the assistance of the public.
“I would ask anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information which could assist us to get in touch.
“I would also ask anyone who was in the area around the time and who may have dash cam or private CCTV to contact us.”
