Arrests after six-figure drugs recovery in Glasgow and Dundee
Three men have been arrested and charged following the recovery of cannabis valued at £180,000 in Glasgow and Dundee.
Around 10.30am on Wednesday, 2 April, 2025, police executed warrants at addresses in Pollokshields Square, Glasgow and Tom Johnston Road, Dundee, as part of an intelligence-led operation.
As a result, a significant quantity of cannabis was recovered, with an estimated street value of around £180,000.
Three men – aged 17, 26 and 31 – were arrested and charged in connection with the operation, and are expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday, 3 April, 2025.
Detective Superintendent Steven Elliott said: “Drugs cause misery in our communities and we are committed to bringing those responsible for the supply and sale of illegal substances to justice.
“This result underscores our commitment to the Serious and Organised Crime Taskforce and highlights our efforts to disrupt the activities of those involved.
