Appeal for information following a van fire in Paisley

Detectives are appealing for information following a van fire.

Around 4.45am on Friday, 18 April, 2025, a white Ford Transit van was found alight in Langcraigs Drive, Paisley.

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service quickly extinguished the fire.

Detective Constable Victoria Thornburn of Paisley Station said: “The van was extensively damage but thankfully no reports of any injuries.

“I am appealing to anyone who heard or saw anything suspicious in the area to contact us.

“I would ask residents who have doorbell footage to review it and the same with motorists with dash-cam footage, you may have captured something that can assist our enquiries.”
