Appeal for information following a crash on the A83
Road policing officers in Argyll are appealing for information following a crash on the A83.
Around 1.10pm on Monday, 14 April, 2025 a blue Kangoo Expression collided with tree around one mile north of Furnace heading towards Inverary.
The 79-year-old male driver was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Sergeant Kenny Malaney said: “Our inquiries into the circumstances of what happened are underway.
“I would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the crash or who has dash-cam footage to contact us as soon as possible, you may have captured something that could assist our investigation.
“The road re-opened around 9.55pm same date.
“I would like to thank members of the public for their patience while we carried out our enquiries into this serious crash.
“Anyone with information should call Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 1358 of 14 April, 2025.”
