Appeal following wilful fire-raising in Clydebank
Officers are appealing for information following a fire at a building on Lennox Place in Clydebank on Friday, 25 April.
The fire reported around 10pm and was put out by the Scottish Fire and Ambulance Service. No one was injured.
It is being treated and wilful and officers are keen to trace two men seen at the time.
The first man is described as white, aged in his twenties, around 5ft 7ins and of slim build. He was wearing all black clothing and carrying a white carrier bag.
The second man is described as white, aged in his thirties and of stocky build. He was wearing black clothing, including a top with white writing on the front.
Detective Constable Jemma Green said: “Fortunately no one was injured but substantial damage was caused to the building and the fire is being treated as wilful.
“Our investigation to trace those responsible is ongoing and we are asking anyone who saw anything suspicious to get in touch.
“We are also asking people to check private CCTV and anyone driving in the area around the time of the incident to check to see if they have captured any footage that could assist with our enquiries.”
