Appeal following serious assault on Main Street, Cambuslang
Police Scotland is appealing for information following the serious assault of a man in Cambuslang.
Around midday on Tuesday, 22 April, 2025, we received a report of the serious assault of a 42-year-old man on Main Street, outside Cambuslang Gate following an altercation.
Emergency services attended and he was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment and later released.
The suspect is described as male, around 5ft 8in in height, of medium build and was wearing a blue tracksuit and glasses.
Enquiries are ongoing and officers are appealing for anyone with any information to get in touch.
Detective Constable David Telfer said: “We believe this was a targeted attack. It happened on a busy road in the middle of the day and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the assault or who has any information which could assist to contact us.
“I would also ask anyone who was in the area and who may have dash-cam footage to contact us.”
