Appeal following serious assault on High Street, Dumbarton
Police Scotland is appealing for information following the serious assault of a woman in Dumbarton.
Between 12.50am and 1am on Sunday, 27 April, 2025, we received a report of the serious assault of a 28-year-old woman on High Street, Dumbarton near Riverside Lane.
Emergency services attended and the woman was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley for treatment.
Enquiries are ongoing and officers are appealing for anyone with any information to get in touch.
Detective Constable Georgia Callander said: “This incident happened on a busy street and I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the assault and hasn’t already spoken to officers to get in touch.
“I would also appeal to anyone who was in the area and who may have dash-cam or private CCTV to contact us.”
