Appeal after man seriously assaulted on Stravanan Road, Glasgow
Detectives are appealing for information following the serious assault of a 31-year-old man in the Castlemilk area of Glasgow.
The incident took place on Stravanan Road, around 3.15pm on Monday, 21 April, 2025.
The victim was conveyed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
Detective Inspector Jonny MacKinnon, from Cathcart CID, said: “Our enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this attack are ongoing, however we do not believe there to be any risk to the wider community. There will be an increased police presence in the area as the investigation progresses.
“We would ask anyone who was in the area and may have witnessed anything suspicious, or if you may have CCTV or dashcam footage from around the time of the incident, to please come forward.”
