Man sentenced to four years for drug offences in Dundee
A man has been sentenced to four years in prison in relation to drugs offences in Dundee.
Anthony Johnson, 64, pled guilty to being concerned in the supply of cocaine on 19 March, 2025.
Johnson was sentenced today, Thursday, 17 April, 2025, at the High Court in Edinburgh.
On 19 September 2024, officers acting on intelligence, stopped Johnson in the Glamis Street area of Dundee and recovered cocaine with a street value at over £480,000.
Detective Inspector Gary Lamb of the Organised Crime and Counter Terrorism Unit said: “This conviction and sentencing highlights our commitment to disrupting the illegal and harmful supply of drugs in our communities and is another step towards dismantling the networks of organised criminals who operate in Scotland.
“Information from the public is crucial in helping us to combat those involved in drug dealing activity in our communities. With the help and support of the public we will continue to target anyone involved in organised criminal activity.
