£98,000 worth of cannabis seized in Glasgow

Police have recovered drugs with an estimated street value of around £98,000 following a search of a property in Glasgow.

Around 8pm on Tuesday, 24 September, officers executed a warrant at an address on Glenkirk Drive, where around 246 cannabis plants were discovered.

Enquiries are ongoing to identify those responsible

Detective Inspector Alan Ferguson said: This significant recovery highlights our commitment to disrupting drug-related crime in our communities. It also reinforces our ongoing commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious and Organised Crime Strategy.
