A 53-year-old man arrested in connection with the death of Sandie Butler in Glasgow has now been charged.

Officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the St Mungo Avenue area around 12.55pm on Tuesday, 29 October, 2024.

Emergency services attended and 40-year-old Sandie was found seriously injured. She died a short time later.

The man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 4 November, 2024.
