Update – Serious assault on East High Street in Airdrie

A 35-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a serious assault on East High Street in Airdrie.

He was due to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Monday, 6 May, 2024.

The incident happened around 8.40am on Wednesday, 28 February, 2024, and a 34-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment and later released.
