Man arrested and charged following fatal road crash on Auchenhowie Road, Milngavie

A 20-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with road traffic offences following a fatal road crash on Auchenhowie Road, Milngavie, at around 9.05pm on Sunday, 26 February, 2023.

Ryan Wheeler, 21, who was a rear seat passenger in a Skoda Superb, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 16-year-old female rear seat passenger and the 19-year-old male driver of the Skoda were taken to hospital with serious injuries and later discharged.

The 20-year-old man is due to appear before Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 7 May, 2024.

Two males, aged 18 and 24, were previously arrested and charged in connection with the incident and will appear in court at a later date.
