Man arrested and charged following disturbance and road crash on Glasgow Road, Paisley

Around 1pm on Monday, 6 May, 2024, a disturbance involving a weapon occurred following a collision between a car and a stationary police vehicle on Glasgow Road in Paisley.

Two officers were injured and were treated by paramedics.

A 30-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with this incident. He is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Tuesday, 7 May.

A report will be forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal.
