Man arrested and charged following attempted break-ins in Arbroath

A 30-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with break-ins and attempted break-ins involving a stolen vehicle on Mayfield Terrace and High Street, Arbroath.

The incidents happened on Friday, 15 and Friday, 22 March, 2024.

The man is due to appear at Forfar Sheriff Court on Monday, 25 March, 2024.

Detective Sergeant Colin Watson said: “We would like to thank members of the community for their assistance during our investigation.”

“We are committed to tackling these offences and would urge anyone who believes they have been a victim of a break-in to contact us.”
