Man charged in connection with death of woman in Glasgow

A 32-year-old man has been charged in connection with the death of Maxine Clark in Riddrie, Glasgow.

Around 7.40pm on Thursday, 27 June, 2024, police received a report of a woman found seriously injured within a property on Tummel Street.

Emergency services attended, however Maxine, 36, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her family are aware.

The 32-year-old man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, 1 July, 2024.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
