Appeal for information following racial abuse in Broughty Ferry

Officers in Broughty Ferry are appealing for information after a hate crime took place on Wednesday, 19 June, 2024.

Around 9.55pm, a man has boarded the number 5 Xplore bus at Queen Street and racially abused a passenger.

The suspect is described as being a white man aged in his 50's, around 5ft 11ins tall, and of medium build. He has very short brown hair.

Constable Christopher Cutler said: “This type of behaviour is completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated.

"There were multiple passengers on the bus who would have heard the abuse. I am appealing to them to come forward and speak to us."
