Man arrested for stealing fuel in Central Scotland

Following an investigation into several reports of fuel thefts across Central Scotland, Road Policing officers arrested and charged a 45-year-old man on Thursday, 11 January, 2024. 

The incidents were reported to police between 19 November, 2023 and 9 January, 2024. The thefts occurred in areas including Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Fife and Ayrshire.

The man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday, 12 January, 2023. A report is being prepared for the Procurator Fiscal.
