Man arrested following hit and run in Mosspark area of Glasgow

Following the execution of a search warrant, a 23-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a hit and run in the Mosspark area of Glasgow.

Around 8pm on Sunday, 31 December, 2023, officers were called to the incident, which involved a motorbike, on Mosspark Drive between the junctions with Arbroath Avenue and Tealing Avenue.

A 69-year-old woman was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment and medical staff describe her condition as serious but stable.

The 23-year-old man is due to appear before Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday, 18 January, 2024. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
