Man arrested following assault in Dalkeith

A man has been arrested and charged following a serious assult in Dalkeith.

Around 9.30pm on Saturday, 27 January, 2024 officers were made aware of a serious assault on South Street, Dalkeith.

Emergency services attended and a 35-year-old man was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh by ambulance.

A 29-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident. He will appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court at a later date.
